Prayer flags and a white stupa beneath snow peaks in the Nepal Himalaya
Destination

Nepal for travel agents.

Temple squares in Kathmandu, Himalayan sunrises over Pokhara and rhinos in Chitwan. Mountain drama without the need for a hard trek.

About the destination

The Himalaya, made easy to sell.

Nepal packs extraordinary variety into a short trip: seven UNESCO-listed monuments in the Kathmandu Valley, lakeside Pokhara beneath the Annapurna range, and jungle safaris in Chitwan National Park. Most clients never need to trek to see the mountains.

It is an easy add-on for travellers already visiting India or Bhutan, and works on its own for culture lovers, families, spiritual travellers and soft-adventure groups. Brief us with the client profile and dates and we return a matched routing with hotels, transfers and flights noted line by line.

When to sell

Nepal, season by season.

Mountain views drive the Nepal calendar. Clear skies matter more than temperature.

Oct – Nov
Peak season
Clear, dry skies and the best Himalayan views. Dashain and Tihar festivals fall in this window, so book early.
Dec – Feb
Winter
Cool and mostly clear in Kathmandu and Pokhara, cold at altitude. Good value and quieter hotels.
Mar – May
Spring
Warm days and rhododendrons in bloom; haze can soften mountain views by May.
Jun – Sep
Monsoon
Rain most afternoons and cloudy peaks. Best for culture-led trips and lower rates.

Frequently asked

Agent questions, answered.

Do clients need a visa for Nepal?

Most nationalities can get a tourist visa on arrival or apply online in advance. Indian nationals do not need a visa. We confirm the rules for each traveller's passport with the quote.

Do clients need to trek to see the Himalaya?

No. Sarangkot in Pokhara, the Nagarkot ridge and the early-morning Everest mountain flight from Kathmandu all give big mountain views without trekking. Short foothill walks can be added for active clients.

How many nights does a first Nepal trip need?

Five to seven nights covers Kathmandu and Pokhara at a comfortable pace. Add two nights for Chitwan, or combine Nepal with India or Bhutan for a longer Himalayan program.

When is the best time to sell Nepal?

October and November give the clearest mountain views, followed by spring from March to May. Winter is good value; the June to September monsoon suits culture-led trips.

Can Nepal be combined with India or Bhutan?

Yes. Kathmandu has direct flights to Delhi and to Paro in Bhutan, and Lumbini sits close to the Indian border, so Nepal works well as part of a multi-country itinerary.
