Thailand for travel agents.

Royal temples in Bangkok, Andaman islands in Phuket, karst cliffs in Krabi, jungle retreats in Chiang Mai. Depth for two weeks, precision for four nights.

About the destination

The most versatile destination in Southeast Asia.

Thailand is Southeast Asia's most mature destination — infrastructure that supports both a first-time family holiday and an Aman-level bespoke retreat, cuisine that appeals to every palate, and geographic diversity that rewards seven nights or three weeks equally. That maturity means the DMC's role isn't paperwork; it's precision matching of resorts, coasts and pace to client profile.

ILH operates Thailand programs with on-ground teams in Bangkok, Phuket, Koh Samui and Chiang Mai. Direct contracting with Aman, Six Senses, Rosewood, Mandarin Oriental, Four Seasons and dozens of boutique properties. Bangkok MICE production for groups up to 800 pax with private-charter Thai Airways or Bangkok Airways options.

Brief us with client profile — Andaman vs Gulf, city + beach vs city + jungle, luxury vs value, MICE vs FIT — and we return a matched routing with hotels, transfers and coast-timing noted line by line.

Frequently asked

Agent questions, answered.

Do our clients need a visa for Thailand?

Most Western nationalities receive 60 days visa-free entry on arrival. Thailand introduced the TDAC (Thailand Digital Arrival Card) in 2025, replacing paper landing cards — completed online 3 days before arrival. ILH shares the TDAC link with every confirmation.

Which coast should I recommend and when?

Andaman coast (Phuket, Krabi, Phi Phi): dry November–April, monsoon May–October. Gulf coast (Koh Samui, Koh Phangan): dry January–September, wetter October–December. Nov–Feb is best for either. We route around monsoon rather than avoiding travel altogether.

Which luxury resorts do you contract with?

Aman (Amanpuri Phuket, Aman Bangkok), Six Senses (Yao Noi, Samui), Rosewood (Phuket, Bangkok), Mandarin Oriental Bangkok, Peninsula, Four Seasons (Chiang Mai, Koh Samui), Anantara Golden Triangle, Trisara, Phulay Bay Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Chiva-Som wellness.

Can you handle MICE and dealer-meet groups?

Yes. Bangkok QSNCC and IMPACT Muang Thong for large conferences. Phuket beach-resort takeovers (Le Meridien, Marriott) for 200–500 pax. Koh Samui private-island incentives at Six Senses Yao Noi. Full production support.

What about Songkran and Loy Krathong timing?

Songkran (Thai New Year) is April 13–15 nationwide — water-festival celebrations close many attractions but resorts remain open. Loy Krathong (November full moon) is spectacular in Chiang Mai. We brief clients about full-day water fights on Songkran and can adjust city touring accordingly.

Do you arrange Muay Thai and cultural immersion experiences?

Yes. Ratchadamnoen Stadium VIP or Rajadamnern arena for authentic Muay Thai fights. Private cooking classes with palace chefs, cross-cultural monastery visits with monk-led meditations, and private training sessions at boutique camps for enthusiasts.
