Sri Lanka for travel agents.
Ancient citadels, tea-country plantations, leopard safari and colonial Galle. Compact enough for eight nights, layered enough for two weeks. Handled end to end.
Nine climates, one small island.
Sri Lanka packs an improbable amount into 65,000 km² — 2,000-year-old Buddhist ruins, cloud-forest tea estates, four national parks with leopards and elephants, and colonial Galle Fort by the ocean. Sequencing all of that intelligently in a 10- or 14-night circuit is the DMC's real value-add.
ILH operates Sri Lanka programs from our Greater Noida office with on-ground teams in Colombo, Kandy and Galle. That gives us direct hotel contracting (Aman properties, Ceylon Tea Trails, Cape Weligama), private-driver quality control, and rapid response when a monsoon front closes a mountain road.
Brief us with client profile — first-timer, second-timer, honeymoon, family, wildlife-focused — and we return a routing matched to season and pace, with hotels, private driver-guide, safari lodges and rail bookings noted line by line.
Proven Sri Lanka routings, ready to tailor.

Agent questions, answered.
Is Incredible Luxury Holidays a DMC for Sri Lanka?
Yes. We are a B2B destination management company working only with travel agents and tour operators, with on-ground teams in Colombo, Kandy and Galle. We contract hotels directly, provide private chauffeur-guides, and handle safaris, rail journeys and 24×7 support while your clients travel. Incredible Luxury Holidays is approved by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, is a member of IATO and ITATOA, and is an allied member of NAITAS (Philippines). See our accreditations →
What is the best Sri Lanka itinerary for a first-time client?
Ten nights covers the highlights: Colombo, the Cultural Triangle (Sigiriya and Dambulla), Kandy, the tea country of Nuwara Eliya with the scenic train towards Ella, a leopard safari in Yala, and colonial Galle on the south coast. With seven nights, focus on the Cultural Triangle, Kandy and one coast. Sell December to March for the west and south coasts, or April to September when the east coast is at its best.
Do you run the Ramayana Trail in Sri Lanka?
Yes. Our 7-day Ramayana Trail covers the temples and sites linked with Rama, Sita, Hanuman and Ravana — Munneswaram, Manavari, the Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple, Seetha Amman Temple, Ravana Falls and Ussangoda — combined with Sigiriya, Kandy, Galle and Colombo. It is popular with Hindu pilgrims and Indian-diaspora families. See the day-by-day Ramayana Trail →
Do you arrange Buddhist pilgrimage tours in Sri Lanka?
Yes. We arrange thoughtfully curated Buddhist pilgrimage tours across Sri Lanka, combining sacred sites, ancient Buddhist heritage and meaningful spiritual experiences.
Our pilgrimage itineraries include the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic in Kandy, one of the most revered Buddhist shrines in the country; Anuradhapura, home to the sacred Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi, grown from a sapling associated with the original Bodhi tree under which the Buddha attained enlightenment; and Mihintale, traditionally recognised as the place where Buddhism was introduced to Sri Lanka.
Pilgrims can also explore the ancient city of Polonnaruwa, renowned for its magnificent Gal Vihara Buddha statues carved into rock; the Dambulla Cave Temple, celebrated for its Buddhist statues and centuries-old murals; and Kelaniya Raja Maha Vihara, an important Buddhist temple near Colombo.
For those seeking an additional spiritual challenge, the itinerary can include Sri Pada (Adam’s Peak), a sacred mountain revered by multiple religious traditions. The main pilgrimage season generally runs from December to May, with conditions varying by year.
At Incredible Luxury Holidays, we can tailor each journey to the group's spiritual interests, travel pace and comfort requirements, with experienced local guides, appropriate temple visiting schedules, and guidance on respectful dress and customs.
Whether you are organising a Buddhist association pilgrimage, a religious group departure or a private spiritual journey, we can create a personalised Sri Lanka itinerary that combines devotion, cultural discovery and comfortable travel.
What is the Sri Lanka ETA and how does it work?
Most visitors need an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA), applied for online on the official website, eta.gov.lk, before travel. A free 30-day tourist ETA is currently offered to nationals of around 40 countries, including India, the UAE, the UK and the USA; other nationalities, such as Philippine passport holders, pay a fee. Passports should be valid for at least six months. ILH shares the official link and briefs your clients on the required inputs. ETA rules and fees are set by the Government of Sri Lanka and may change.
How do monsoons affect Sri Lanka programs?
Two monsoon systems. West/South coast: dry Dec–Mar, wet May–Sep. East coast: opposite — dry Apr–Sep. Cultural Triangle year-round with occasional rain. We route around the wet coast rather than avoiding travel altogether.
Which parks are best for leopard sightings?
Yala National Park (Block 1) has one of the highest densities of leopards in the world, giving the best chance of a sighting. Wilpattu is quieter and more exclusive, and Udawalawe is best for elephants. Peak safari season is February to June; Yala usually closes for a few weeks each year around September, so we check park dates when quoting.
Which luxury hotels do you contract with?
Aman Sri Lanka (Amangalla, Amanwella), Cape Weligama, Ceylon Tea Trails, Chena Huts (Yala), Wild Coast Tented Lodge, Anantara Peace Haven, Shangri-La Colombo & Hambantota, Fort Bazaar, Heritance Kandalama.
Can Sri Lanka be combined with Maldives?
Yes — one of our most-sold combinations. Direct daily flights CMB–MLE (SriLankan & Emirates). Typical combo: 7 nights Sri Lanka (Cultural Triangle + one coast) + 5 nights Maldives resort.
Do you handle rail bookings for tea-country travel?
Yes. The Kandy–Ella train through the tea country is one of the world's most scenic rail journeys. We book reserved first-class observation or second-class seats as soon as the booking window opens, about 30 days before travel, and arrange a car to follow with the luggage.
How quickly do you send a quote?
Within 24 hours of receiving the client brief — travel dates, number of travellers, hotel category and any special interests such as safaris, the Ramayana Trail or a Maldives add-on. Use the request form on this page or message us on WhatsApp.
Send the client brief. We'll quote in 24 hours.
